Front Desk Duties: Greet guests and direct and assist them to appropriate staff. Ensuring a positive and professional impression at all times. Keep kitchen, office supplies, and mailroom clean, stocked, and organized.
Answering main phone line and assisting the caller to appropriate staff or assisting caller of the information they request if able.
Provide clerical assistance to Early Education Department, Pre-K Counts, Fiscal, and HR with spreadsheets, letters, sign-in sheets from centers, phone screenings, and reports by deadline.
Bi-lingual translation of documents when needed and assist staff in communicating with parents and providers when they do not speak English
Assist in scanning and copying of documentation
Assist with enrollment of children in Pre-K Counts classrooms
Perform other tasks as needed
5 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
Knowledge of office procedures and equipment.
Excellent organization skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
Strong communications skills (via phone, email, and in-person).
Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Strong phone etiquette and excellent grammar and spelling skills.
Associates Degree in Business preferred.
Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
Attention to detail and have ability to analytically solve problems as needed.
Strong multi-tasking, time management skills
