GENERAL RESPONSIBILITES:

• Assisting with daily food preparation of all food items posted on “working menu”.

• Responsible to keep the general kitchen area clean and sanitary.

• Meet local health bureau requirements.

• Assist with food deliveries and putting away stock.

• Ensures that required meal components are delivered to child care affiliates and that proper food handling and temperature level checks are followed.

• Ensures proper sanitation and the values of cleaning procedures meet requirements of state and health guidelines.

• Assist in packing produce orders for weekly delivery.

• Assist in packing all dairy products and breads ordered weekly.

• Responsible to clean food service equipment after each use.

• Delivering lunch meals in the event a driver is out sick or on vacation.

• Submits to random drug testing.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Part-Time Hours: Monday thru Friday 5:30 AM to 9:30 AM and increased hours if needed when other kitchen staff are out.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Food Handling and Cooking Experience

• H.S. Diploma

• Able to bend and lift 35-50 pounds

• Able to obtain FBI, Child Abuse and PA Criminal Clearances

• Able to provide physical/TB Testing

• Current driver's license and ability to drive a large van for food delivery.
