Lehigh Valley Children's Centers, offers a thematic SA curriculum which reflects the diverse and ever changing interests of school-aged children. The structure of the program and weekly themes reflect the interests of the students and reinforce skills learned at school. The weekly themes are threaded throughout classrooms activities and aligned with the Pennsylvania Learning Standards. Although time is allocated for doing homework, school-age children may also participate in cooperative games, arts and crafts, computer activities, table games, cooking, woodworking, dramatics and/or sewing. In addition, children enjoy outdoor activities daily.
