CACFP ensures that children in child care settings receive nutritious, well-balanced meals. Through an agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Education, LVCC serves as a sponsor for this federal program. We aim to improve the diet of children ages birth to 12 years of age, by providing training and reimbursing child care providers for the nutritious meals and snacks they serve.
Family and group child-care providers, registered with the Department of Human Services, are eligible to enroll.
CACFP is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education on behalf of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Get updates on CACFP on Facebook.
