LVCC’s Summer school-age program is intended to be both educational and recreational. It is designed around weekly, child-centered themes. In addition to all the activities available during the school year, our summer program offers swimming, field trips and other added outdoor activities.
Enriching Weekly Lessons
Field Trips and Swimming
In-Center Special Activities
LVCC School Age teachers are active participants in your child’s summer learning. Teachers build weekly lesson plans that engage your child in both indoor and outdoor activities driven to keep your child‘s mind and body active. Our curriculum encourages child-led participation when designing themes and planned activities. Weekly field trips and in-center programs provide children with activities such as soccer, music, hockey, art, physical education, computers, coding, chess and swimming to just name a few!
Summer School Age classrooms are filled with vibrant artwork, ongoing weekly projects and information regarding the day to day activities of each program. Classrooms are arranged to allow students to independently choose activities while guiding their learning through hands-on experiences.
Daily activities and enriching programs keep children actively engaged and in a schedule of continually learning new information. This continuation of educational activities throughout the summer eases the process of transition back into the upcoming school year.
