Our South Mountain site is located off of Emmaus Avenue on the south side of Allentown. We provide programs for infants through school age. During the school year, we transport school-age students to and from Hiram Dodd and Roosevelt Elementary. During the summer, we offer a full-day, engaging and fun-filled summer school-age program.
We have eight spacious classrooms, three of which are Pre-K Counts. The Pre-K Counts classroom follows the Allentown School District operating schedule. Children ages 3-5 who are accepted into the program attend from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
LVCC at South Mountain has space for both indoor and outdoor gross motor recreational activities. The infants and toddlers have a dedicated space. The preschool and school-age children have a well-equipped gym. Both spaces are perfect for rainy day gross motor exploration. We also have two age-appropriate outdoor fenced-in play areas for safe, outdoor adventure; one for infants and toddlers and another for preschool to school-age children.
